Expressing the Journey through words

We...that would be Aimee and me...are going to finally do what we have been attempting for years...only this time successfully (?). Facebook as been a terrific conduit for keeping people posted on her status and the amazing things that we have been experiencing these past few months...but, after some discussion we feel like expanding upon this chance to share by blogging. When we post we will link it to FB so people can click the link and read if they so desire...hopefully we will find ourselves posting updates and such more regularly and with greater content than what we felt comfortable with on FB. We engage this prayerfully so as to reflect Christ and advance His truth through our story...a story he is blessing us to endure and experience.

...and here is where we were wrong to tell Maggie that the cat came down the aisle...

Jack held his own when it came to deciding who was walking Courtney down the aisle...but he finally conceded and allowed Mr. Jimmy the honor.

Ready set...

Here is Mags with Megan...Courtney's older sister.

So this game is called...

Search for the Cat! We could not find her, so we convinced Maggie that she must have gone outside and down the aisle...it worked. Mags carried her basket all the way down the aisle. VICTORY!

Kiley arrived....

...then things got real interesting :)

Priorities...of course

Taking care of the lady on her day...I simply love watching Jack be Jack.

Jack?

I lost track of Jack for a few minutes only to find him with the Bridesmaids...he was handing out Cheez-its.

Giving the Bride away

I was begining to wonder if Jack was actually going to let Courtney go down the aisle.

Conversationalist

Very interesting to sit back and watch the kids interact with a bunch of strange adults. Turns out Jack has absolutely no fear. I actually had to start policing him...calling time to save the adult. "Hi I'm Jack...what are your thoughts on Spider Man?"
