Pure JOY

I love this picture! Running to your parents arms completely unabated. One of the most precious moments that any parent can experience is being the one run to. I love it because it reminds me how I should be running towards my heavenly father...we are blessed to have children that remind us of this daily:)

Game Ball

Jack has been working hard to try and earn a game ball. His diligence and "hustle" finally paid off. He was so excited to bring it home to show mom.

YAKATORI (my spelling)

So a few years back I toured Tokyo...my favorite thing from that trip? Yakatori style kabobs...so, I had a few bricks...some lump charcoal and I was bored...the perfect combination for a culinary adventure. The kabobs were GREAT...but I did warp the table...just below the picture of burning coals are some broken tiles and a red hot patio table...so the tiles I used were not made for this particular application...live and learn...did I mention the food was GREAT?
